Trust and transparency
Tenerife Wonder distinguishes between a company identified during research, a request received and a verified professional. They are not the same thing.
A request is not verification
Filling in the form opens a review, but it does not grant a badge, a recommendation or a featured position. Until the checks are complete, the record remains internal.
What we check
- Identity and contact: legal name, tax identification, person in charge, website and customer service channels.
- Direct provision: we confirm which activities the professional actually runs and which depend on third parties.
- Authorisation and insurance: we review the registrations, licences, qualifications and cover that apply to the activity.
- Operating conditions: duration, capacity, languages, pick-up, accessibility, inclusions, cancellation and what happens in bad weather or if something goes wrong.
- Commercial relationship: any commission or collaboration is documented separately and does not buy an editorial recommendation.
Stages of the process
Records move through imported, contacted, request received, documents pending, checking, verified and active. They can also be paused or discarded. A professional will only be presented publicly as verified once they have passed the relevant checks.
Review and updates
Details that change often, such as prices, availability, permits or pick-ups, are reviewed more frequently than stable information. A review date does not guarantee that nothing will change afterwards; that is why conditions are confirmed again before booking.
Editorial independence
Tenerife Wonder may receive income from requests, bookings or collaborations. That relationship does not allow a provider to change the editorial criteria or buy a favourable assessment. Where there is a relevant commercial relationship, this will be stated clearly.
Corrections
If you spot an incorrect detail or represent a company included in our research, write to hola@tenerifewonder.com. We will review the source and record the update.
